Penny, Sam and Tom Twelftree own and manage Backpack Oz & The Guest House.
Sam has been the full time manager since 1999. His travels have taken him to New Zealand, SE Asia, Asia, U.K, Western and Eastern Europe but most importantly all over Australia! Sam is passionate about Adelaide and the backpacking industry and is a committee member of the South Australian Backpacking Industry Association. Renowned for putting on massive Backpack Oz parties, remembering faces two years later and forever saying "No dramas", let Sam and his team take care of all your needs and comfort while in Adelaide.
Penny works part time and spends the rest of her life looking after her little man Oliver with the support of her big man - husband Steve. Baby number 2 (Ivy) arrived in June 2007 so you might not see her around much.
Tom works full time elsewhere, but does his best work at Backpack Oz on Wednesday nights, cooking the free BBQ dinner for hungry guests. Toms lovely wife Emma also does a couple of shifts a week and they are the proud parents of Henry who looks forward to hanging out at Backpack Oz one day in the future.
